Our primary search offering, a retained search, requires an upfront commitment to a fee. Our standard total fee is 22.5% of basic salary. The retained fee will be 7.5% with the 15% balance invoiced on start date. The retained fee is necessary to protect us against undertaking work that is undone because of a change in strategy, internal applications or direct applications. We recommend that we manage these applications as part of the process in order to ensure all candidates have a third-party representative and will reduce our fee to a total of 15% if they are not part of our initial shortlist.
Contingency recruitment includes introductions made as a result of ACR Executive Search approaching you with a candidate, or where you are keen to work with us but without the exclusivity of a retained search. In these scenarios our standard fee is 20% of the basic salary.
We recognise that cost certainty is important for businesses and that our fee as a percentage of a salary may vary when determined only on appointment of your preferred candidate. As such, we are happy to agree a fixed fee for our work rather than work on the basis of a percentage of salary – whatever works best for you.
We understand that it is important for our clients to access the diverse array of talent available within the Construction sector. We are committed to working with you to ensure that your metrics are delivered when shortlisting candidates for interview and will discuss this during the briefing stage.
Securing outstanding leaders is key to the success of any business and an important part of that process is to ensure that key components such as management style and motivators are paramount to this. Psychometric profiling is recognised as an established method of delving into this detail, and we will work with you to provide a service either through our own partnerships or through your preferred profiling model. This service is offered through our partnership with Nick Worrall, former HR Director of Countryside and Barratt Homes and is at no extra cost.
